At Talking Rock our members enjoy a wide variety of events and activities planned with their interests in mind. Here is a short list of our monthly activities. Membership at Talking Rock is required to participate.

May Member Events
May 15 – 50’s Themed Pizza Party
Join us in the Ranch House and on the patio for a 50’s themed Pizza Party. Enjoy a variety of pizza options by the slice, live music and dancing. We will offer prizes for best dressed and a 50’s style dance competition.
May 18 – Golf Demo Day & Armed Forces Day
Preview and try out the latest and greatest in golf equipment on the Talking Rock practice facility. Taylor Made, Adams Golf, Calloway, Nike and Bridgestone are a few of the manufacturers that will be represented. Help raise money for Goodies For Grunts. $25 of golf fees will be donated to group, as well as 10% of sales (buyer’s choice). Make your tee times early.
May 19 – 3 – Club Championship
Golfers pick 3 clubs and a putter and compete in an 18-Hole net stroke play championship. Men’s and ladies’ divisions available and players will be flighted based on the number of participants.
May 24 – First Splash Pool Party
Help us open up the pool by joining us for Happy Hour from 4:00pm – 5:30 pm poolside as we take the first plunges of 2013.
May 25 – 2nd Annual Doggie Derby
The practice tee becomes home for man’s best friend as we find out which TR puppies are the fastest. Dogs will be placed in one of three divisions, mighty mites, middle weights and heavy weights as they race each other for their respective title.
May 26 – Dog Snake Avoidance Training
This will train your four legged friend how to avoid snakes. Training will be offered in the morning with reservations taken every 15 minutes beginning at 11 am. We will work in reverse or earlier into the morning as we get more dogs signed up. Cost is $50 per dog.
May 26 – Music on the Patio
Enjoy burgers, brats, hotdogs and chicken off the grill and all the classic picnic style sides while you listen and dance to live music on the patio. Music is from 1pm-5pm, Buffet from 11am-2pm.
May 27 – Memorial Day Modified Chapman Golf Event
Two-player teams compete over 18-Holes using a modified chapman format as we celebrate the holiday and end a weekend of fun. After golf players can enjoy some lunch and barbeque in the Ranch House and Chef Richard’s Smoke House menu.
