Talking Rock Introduces Cooper Hawk Ridge
New neighborhood offers 41 homesites, architectural flexibility
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (June 28, 2016) – Talking Rock, a private, master-planned residential golf community in Prescott, is opening Cooper Hawk Ridge, a new neighborhood that includes 41 custom homesites with both high desert and golf course views. Talking Rock’s newest neighborhood affords owners a broader spectrum of design freedom and encourages a fresh approach to ranch architecture.
The homesites at Cooper Hawk Ridge, which start at $195,000, range in size from a half-acre to two acres and are nestled in a landscape that is flush with juniper and pinon pine trees. Two holes from the Jay Morrish-designed championship golf course, numbers 15 and 16, run adjacent to the west and south perimeters of the Cooper Hawk Ridge neighborhood, while the northern boundary opens to the high country landscape. Cooper Hawk Ridge has already secured a trio of contracts and a few reservations on homesites.
“Cooper Hawk Ridge is a special neighborhood that will provide owners with an opportunity to design bold yet timeless homes while blending indoor and outdoor living in uniquely expressive ways,” said Jim Jones, director of sales at Talking Rock. “This neighborhood will stand out for its individuality while using natural materials that complement the surrounding environment.”
In order to create a truly unique neighborhood featuring uncommon ranch architecture, Cooper Hawk Ridge owners will be encouraged to explore contemporary design elements that incorporate steel, glass and natural wood materials. Adding to the neighborhood’s appeal, Cooper Hawk Ridge is perched at a higher elevation than other areas within Talking Rock, affording a different perspective of the lush landscape.
“The elevation and the landscape within Cooper Hawk Ridge at Talking Rock offer homeowners a wide margin for innovative, distinctive design,” said John E. Sather, AIA, AICP, a senior partner at Swaback Partners who developed the design guidelines for Cooper Hawk Ridge. “We like to think that we’re empowering homeowners to take ranch architecture to the next level, to take a fresh approach, to consider a certain amount of unique, contemporary character when building their mountain retreat.”
Beyond golf at the award-winning Jay Morrish-designed club, residents at Talking Rock enjoy access to a community dog park, a fishing deck over a bass and bluegill-stocked pond, a community garden, an on-site coffee shop and a full-service bar, grill and restaurant. Talking Rock residents also have the opportunity to indulge at the pool and boutique spa, exercise at the state-of-the-art fitness center and explore on site hiking and biking trails.
